Well, since it's been a week I finally called the vet about Noel's limp. Poor little thing had to go at the worst time ever. Dogs everywhere as soon as we walked in. Then waiting in the room for the vet to come in there were so many loud noises, she hid behind me, hunched in the corner, hid in her carrier, hid behind me, etc....She shook uncontrollably.
The vet says she seems to have swelling in her leg, and he thinks she probably has an infection. We'll give her antibiotics for the next couple of days and see if she does better. If she isn't improving by Wednesday, then we have to do an X-ray.
Poor little baby! She's just taking it easy now. I think it's bothering her much more now since the vet had to feel around in there and everything. She walks a little bit and then lies down. I think she's trying to stay off the leg.
