WooHoo I can't wait for her place to open on the Boardwalk!! I've met her and her mother. She is so down to earth. Wow pregnancies for both her and her partner Jennifer and resturant. Talk about a hectic schedule.

While I'm a bit bummed that Spoodles is closing, I'm looking forward to trying Cat Cora's restaurant. Her food always looks amazing.

It is! Padalyn doesn't eat chicken. We were at an event where Cat did a chicken dish, and I think she finished hers before me. As soon as they announce the opening date, I hope the WDW and Food gods align and I can plan to be there.

What's happening??? I had no idea Spoodles was closing - I like their breakfast.... What rest is Cat opening???

OH MY GOD CAT IS A LESBIAN!!!!!!!!!
I love pretty lesbians
I always wonderd why she never got her own show
maybe thats why???????
The resturant should be a great addition to Disney and competition for Emerils
If enough people know her maybe they wont leave the park to go to Emerils!!

I think this is great news. Not that I don't like Spoodles, but getting this type of restaraunt is exciting and should attract a good amount of business (Emeril's is always busy in City Walk - and is wonderful).

We adore Cat Cora. ::yes::

We used to really like Spoodle's but it fell off badly from it's opening splendor. We'd stopped going there a couple of years ago.

Yepper! Two babies! How about that for quite the busy life, eh?

A lesbian of Greek descent from Mississippi. Can't get much more diverse than that! :teeth:

We will be dining there for certain. ::yes::

(Would have rather seen Big River Grille go though). Just sayin'...

That's outsourced though! The new Disney way of doing things: let someone else do all the work and just collect rent.

I'm surprised that they're actually going to run this new joint enterprise with C.C. The trend lately has been for them to let whatever mediocre third party they can find run things.

The scuttlebutt I heard, was that Cat approached Disney about a venture. She and her family are big Disney fans, that could have some bearing on it.

I am super excited that Cat Cora is opening up a restaurant at WDW! :woohoo: Even though Corey is a picky eater, I know that I can get her to eat there. I wonder how long this change over is going to take? I also wonder if we will be graced by her presence in the kitchen very often. With soon to be 4 kids under the age of 6, I can't imagine that she's going to have much time to be there with all of her other commitments. But, a girl can dream. :cloud9:

Umm, yeah. I mentioned it in my original post. But even more interesting and I don't know if it is covered in the link you provided (I didn't read it) Cat and her Partner are carrying each others embryos. They are due 3 months apart (Cat later then Jennifer).

LOL sorry, that is so typical me. I get excited, don't read all of it! Oh well at least its all good!

Cat's a Lesbian???!!!!!

........um, who's Cat? Maybe it's because I'm not a foodie. :)

Z-Dude, I am going to cut you some slack only because you are male and don't look like you have ever booked a trip to anywhere just to eat. :lmao:

Z-Dude, I like that.

Hmmm, she doesn't look familiar and we even watch the food network from time to time. I guess not enough. Maybe it's because we're drooling over Rocco Dispirito all the time or something.

Plus, I'm just not a foodie. You're right food is the last thing I would EVER book a trip for. I only eat food to survive. Not a big food fan. I love the experience of dining, but that's it. Food is nothing but sustinance for me and nothing more. Now, I have a few favorite things, but that's it.

Yeah, and the sad thing is that I eat constantly and can't gain a pound.

But congrats to this Cat Woman and her two new babies. :)

Wow, this is news to me ... sounds great. I stay at the Boardwalk alot so I'll definitely be checking it out.

I'd love to try Cat's restaurant. That's pretty exciting. I like her food. It's like southern comfort food with a touch of elegance. :thumbsup2
