cat 9, room 2610

First let me say that I have really enjoyed reading all the tips from everyone on this forum. You guys know your DCL!

Now that I have you buttered up, I have a question. My family--DH, DD (4), and DS (6) is booked on the October 14, 2006 special cruise to Costa Maya. Based on the great info from this forum, I booked room 2610. I know some cat 9s sleep 3 and some sleep 4. Can anyone please tell me if 2610 sleeps 4? Also, does this room have a porthole?

Hi there-it sleeps 4 and it has a large porthole (I believe the size is 4' diameter).

it is an excellent and very convenient location , starboard aft near elevators....among my top 12 favorite staterooms....you will really enjoy this location!!!!

Oh I am happy to hear about 2610 as my nephews are in 2610 and 2608 on the 6/16 wonder cruise. My sister and I are across the hall in 2110. Hope that is OK too. Got the stuff about excursions and getting excited. How is the blue lagoon with snorkeling?

Thanks so much, LiserAnn and alexandrew. I'm so glad I chose that room. And, alexandrew, knowing that it's one of your favorite rooms confirms it as a good choice because you obviously are a DCL expert! I'm so jealous. I would love to have that many cruises under my belt.

DH and I did a land and sea package for our honeymoon 6 years ago and swore we would come back for our 5-year anniv. We were set to go last September, but Hurricane Jeanne changed our plans. So, next year, we've planned what we call our "trip of a lifetime" to celebrate DH getting his MBA. We're spending a week at WDW, then taking the 7-night Costa Maya cruise. I can't wait!!!

If I didnt live in FL and had the burden of non-FL resident rates and airfare, no way , no how would we have the ability to do so many....the 3 day for us is like a quick weekend at WDW in cost and proximity......
