SandraLee is correct, you will have a single convertible sofa bed, turns into a twin and a upper bearth that comes down from the ceiling. There is a ladder that is used to get up to the upper bearth, it looks like bunk beds. Go to Barb and Tony's site and click on the stateroom link. Under the "mystery of the ceiling bed revealed" link is a picture of the ceiling bed pulled down.
Originally posted by felixdacat My wife and I will be joined by our two children, ages 3 & 5. The room does not have a pull down bed. Exactly how does this room sleep 4?
If you've booked the room for the 4 of you, then it will indeed sleep the 4 of you. LIke the others have posted, there will be a pull out of the wall type bed above the convertible sofa/bed. Not all category 6's do sleep 4 however, ours never do.
There is a railing that is along the "open" side of the bed. Each evening when they pull it from the ceiling the stateroom host will put the rail on and take it off when it goes back into the ceiling. You'll find a ladder in the closet. Again - no worries for you the host puts it up at night and takes it down in the morning.
A picture is worth a thousand words! Thanks for the link, I see there is a rail. These cabins remind me of our Travel Trailer, we will feel right at home!
