we were considering booking a cat. 4 room next time. we've previously stayed in cat. 6 and cat. 8. just wondering if it's worth the extra money for this room compared to cat. 6? thanks for any help.

(we're family of four; ages 7 and 3).

We have stayed in Cat 6 pre baby and cat 4 with the baby. I am not sure of the difference in price but I like the location of the cat 6 better. I didn't find the extra room being all that much more but we needed to use the murphy bed.I guess without using it does give you a bit more space.I just think having the verandah makes a big difference so if it is a lot more stick with a cat 6.
Also if your kids will be in and out of the club it is nice being on the same floor or one floor above the club.

IMHO, I would say it's not worth it with the ages of your children. The room is only bigger by the width of the Murphy bed and that is next to the verandah door. When the bed is pulled down, it is very hard to get around it to go outside. If your children were older I would say it would probably be worth it. If you want the verandah, I would stick with a lower category.

If you felt packed into the Cat. 6, then the extra room will make a difference. With two kids, you don't really need the Murphy bed, but it does give you a little more room to spread out.

If you were fine in the 6, than the extra money may not be worth it.

We're of the "more space is better" mindset. You might want to consider adjoining cabins as well...adjoining Cat 7 may compare favorably to a Cat 4.
