Has anyone stayed in both a Cat 11 and Cat 10 stateroom? If so, is it worth an extra $100 to upgrade from the Cat 11 to 10 on the Disney Wonder for 3 nights?

I know a Cat 10 has a split bathroom, but is there any other reasons to upgrade? Is the rest of the cabin bigger in comparison to a Cat 11?

I haven't stayed in either cat....but from the looks of the vacation planner...the cat 11 is 184 sf. and the 10 is 214 sf. Now I know the 10 has the split bath..but I'd imagine...with the added bath area...you would have a few more sf added to the overall length of the room.

Myself for just $100 I'd go for it... But we also have a family of 4...(three of which are girls)...so the added split bath works for us. Now if it was just DH and myself...I don't think I'd mess with it. :teeth: I think alot depends on how much you think you'll use the split bath...and how much you'll really be in your room. Oh...another deciding factor may be the location of where you want your room. The Cat 10's are mostly on deck 1 & 2 where the cat 11's are up on 5,6 &7. (there are a FEW cat 10's up on the higher decks also...but very few of them)

I've stayed in both a Cat 10 and 11. The only difference is the split bath and in the cat 10 there was a steamer trunklike storage thingy. Other than that there was no difference in size.

How big is your family?

I've stayed in both a 10 and an 11. The only real difference is the split bathroom. We didn't find that much of an advantage, but I usually showered in the locker room after working out.

Some of the 11s are "sideways" rather than "long", which gives them a slightly different layout.

Worth $100 for 3 days....I'd say no, but only you can decide what works best for your family. You can always ask whether you can purchase an upgrade at the port. They are frequently not available, but when they are, they cost about 1/2 of what they would cost in advance.

Yes, it is definitely worth the extra $100. You have a little extra bathroom where one can be showering while the other is putting on make-up or fixing your hair before dinner. It just saved my family a little extra time. 4 people x 2 bathrooms = a much more peaceful voyage. :thumbsup2
