greetings,
i have been away from the boards for a while and was hoping some diser's could help me out. i'm looking for the name tags that resemble the castmembers, i purchased them years ago for my children and any nieces and nephews who are going to wdw for the first time. more relatives going for the first time and would like to get the kids these tags. i know they were available at different locations in parks and dtd but can't remember website purchased from. gifts of a lifetime???? please help

There was a thread about them not too long ago. It seems that Gifts of a Lifetime were out of them and they weren't selling them at WDW. You might want to do a search for that thread.

I bought ours by calling the Christmas shop at DTD (Disney Days of Christmas I think??). But apparently they have been out of them for a couple months or so, and have no idea when they'll get them back in. Someone posted on another thread about some outlet store that still had some left. Good luck! :wizard:

Guest Of Honor badges are not available at this time anywhere in WDW. The CMs I've spoken to have no idea when or if they will get them again. There is some supposition that they are being redesigned. One CM told me that there have been problems because the badges to closely resemble those of the CMs. If I hear new information I will post it.

There were some GoH badges at the Premier Outlet for I think $2.99 each. They carried several, but if course the name selection was somewhat limited.
I have not been there for a few months. But they had some then. Hard to say if they still do.

My daughter had a lot of comments on hers last trip, castmembers calling her by name and people asking where we got it :)

Anyone know if they have anything similar for Disneyland. We had them for WDW but since we are going to DLR this srping was just wondering.

I'd love to try this Main Street MegaStore even at their outrageous prices. Are they reliable????

Hi,

We just recently returned from a trip to Disneyland (December 18-22) and they had both the red "Disneyland" guest of honor badges as well as the pink princess badges. There were actually two different styles of the "Disneyland" badge; one with the classic "Disneyland" font, the other with the current "Disneyland Resort" font. The pink princess badge did not have Disneyland on the front, but from another post I think it may say Disneyland on the back, but I can't be certain about that as we didn't purchase one.

We purchased a Disney World Guest of Honor Badge for our Septemer 2003 trip and the cast members *always* went out of their way to call DD by her name which always made her smile. If I couldn't get a Disney World badge, I certainly wouldn't hesitate nor be disappointed in getting a Disneyland guest of honor badge if they were available (which they were just three weeks ago). DD wore her Disney World badge for our trip to Disneyland and many cast members commented on it, perhaps because it was different from the others they were used to seeing.

Anyways, I don't remember the name of the shop were you could purchase the badges, but it was the first shop on the right as you entered the Disneyland park. Hope that information may help someone.

Take care,
Amy

Just talked to the Character Warehouse Outlet place in Orlando and they do have Guest of Honor badges, BUT they are green with Tigger on them, not red with Mickey. They only have certain names and did have Kevin, that I needed. But GREEN? They are only $1.99, shipping was $8.99. I'm still thinking............................

They sell them in the Five and Dime on Hollywood Blvd at Disney MGM. I believe Days of Christmas at DTD sells them, as well.

I bought mine(several years ago) at that giant pin shop at DTD(the one that is "open air"). :earsboy:

They no longer have them at MGM or DTD. They've been out for two months. They don't know if or when they will have them again.

I tried calling the disney warehouse outlets in orlando and both of them have the cast member pins, with different names, none blank. Some are goofy, not mickey mouse. I think the stores are called Character Premiere or something like that. I got the name from the Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World.. I tried only 1 week ago, however they didn't have Victoria, my dd's name.
