castle status?

hi ... can any recent DL visitors tell me what's up with the castle right now?
we're checking into DLH on monday ... hoping the castle isnt covered with scaffolding and blue tarps. i know they uncovered it for the holidays but there was talk it would be covered up again until the 50th. just wondering what it looked at when you were there ....

the castle is BEAUTIFUL....almost as if it was glistening in pink! I loved the sight of it over the weekend.

It's currently not under wraps- I have no idea when they'll add the glitz for the 50th though...

I am glad you posted that question. We leave next week for DL and I had not even thought of the possiblity the castle would be getting its celebration makeover.

From everything I have read the painting is all done. And the "dressing" of the castle for 50th will happen on May 4th while they are closed.

I hope it's not getting covered until the 4th. We're taking family from Germany who've never been to DL the last week of April. We're all a little bummed about no fireworks or Fantasmic! but I think no castle would be devastating!
