Thanks for posting your settings. My camera doesn't have all the setting options that yours does (Canon A620) but it does have more than the usual point and shoot. I'm hoping to take some fireworks shots on something other than the built in fireworks setting and this will give me a starting point to work from.

Glad to be of help - I have an A620 as a backup camera and from memory you can manually set a fair few settings - the most important IMHO would be the exposure time and the ISO. I'm off to the Mouse House in 3 weeks with both cameras so will post some of my photos with both cameras - hopefully will beat my record last year of 2400 pictures in 17 nights !

Sure did - you can tell its me at WDW - I have a lowepro minitrekker (camera rucksack) for my camera and lenses and a tripod strapped to the side A bit nerdy but I love nighttime photography and its near on impossible without a tripod (Im using a cheap Velbon for WDW - around $45). Its light enough to carry and goes quite small. I tend to set it up on top of one of the trash cans about half way towards the castle. Always get some good shots
