Thanks for posting your settings. Did you use a tripod?
A bit nerdy but I love nighttime photography and its near on impossible without a tripod (Im using a cheap Velbon for WDW - around $45). Its light enough to carry and goes quite small. I tend to set it up on top of one of the trash cans about half way towards the castle. Always get some good shots
