Castle Fireworks from SOG?

Can you see them from some place at SOG? We are staying there one night to see if we want to do a week there next year, and we were wondering. Any input would be helpful!

I called te SOG and asked that question. The receptionist said no, but I read a couple and only a couple of reports from SOG that depending on which room you can see the fireworks.

You can easily take about a 11 minute walk over to the Polynesian hotel beach and view them from there if you like.

When we were there in April we watched them from the parking garage roof. You can see all the stuff that is way up in the air - can't see the low stuff near the castle. It was great! There were always at least a few other families/couples up there with us 'oohing and ahhhing'. Enjoy. We have stayed elsewhere, but will return to SOG. We're going again for 5 days in Nov. Good prices, beautiful and calm resort...and heck, it's right in the World...what more could you ask for?!

Last April when we were there we actually saw them from the pool and hot tub. It was very nice - but we too could only see the very high ones - a couple of nights earlier we watched from the beach at the Poly - it was very nice!!!

When we stayed there in 99 (or was it 2000?), I was in the parking lot one night and discovered that we could see them.

Of course this was before the parking garage was built, so I'm not sure what the configuration is now.

We've seen them from the top level of the parking garage and from the balcony of the jr suites.
