Castle - Dessert Only?

Has anyone ever made a PS for the castle for dessert only? I realize now the only time available would be during the dinner service. I was thinking maybe the last opening in the evening or doing a walk up?

Basically I want to order the slippers. Due to an allergy the white chocolate one at GF is out but the milk chocolate at the castle would be perfect.

Therefore I didn't know if I could do a PS for dessert only or even perhaps order this to go?

I don't see why you can't. A priority seating is simply for you to sit, it doesn't matter what you order. Especially at $14.00 a pop, with a drink, that's a reasonable size check for a table. Plus, the server would probably be happy to turn the table quickly. :flower:

ASK, I'd think most restaurants expect people who make a reservation during dinner hours are there to eat dinner. CRT is likely to be turning away other guests who want to have dinner.

I'd just get there late and ask if you can get a table for coffee and dessert. If there aren't any tables available ask if you can get the dessert to go.

One, not one person on the DIS that I know of has gotten the milk chocolate. So far everyone has reported it being white chocolate like the GF.

Second, I highly doubt they will let you make a PS just for dessert. It's a VERY popular restaurant even for dinner.

edited to add....I remember reading a very long thread about a woman being refused dessert only PS for Yachtsman Steakhouse...I found it here!!

I was just there over July 4th weekend. We ate at CRT on june 30th and the slipper was white chocolate with a chocolate mousse filling. I have only seen one slipper that was chocolate and that was when it first came out.

You'll get lots of different opinions on this but I personally would not have a problem if you (or anyone else) took a PS and had dessert only. It's not just what you eat but the experience of it all. When dining I think it's every bit as important to enjoy your surroundings and the company you are with. Sometimes, and the slipper is a good example, dessert can come close to the cost of a meal so it's not really a money thing IMO. If you're able to get a PS and Disney Dining says it's fine to order dessert only, I say go for it and enjoy :)
