Hi, does anyone know if the lounge has a bar where you can buy drinks (wine/beer etc) to have in there or is it just the free soft drinks that you can have in there?

Will be great to have a drink in the afternoon while dd is happy with a cookie.

You can buy alcoholic drinks. The soft drinks are free.

Seen te price list? :drinking:

no, I have never stayed in Castle Club before. looking forward to it though.

If you can purchase alcoholic beverages from the CC Lounge, how late do they stay open?

I must ask out of curiousity - how do you go about getting into the Castle Club/onto the waiting list? Also in what way is it different from staying in a regular DLH room? oh and is it lots more expensive?

Lots of naive little questions for y'all :rotfl2:

I called reservations and booked the room. Just ask for a 'Castle Club' room and yes --- it IS more expensive!! (A lot) Very similar amenities as in another hotels concierge or Club floor rooms. Differences here are the inclusion of breakfast items, cookies, tea, in the afternoon etc. Also includes VIP fastpasses for length of stay, private elevator direct to MK turnstiles. Rooms look the same to me - I have stayed there once b4 and also in a 'regular' room - didn't notice any difference in room itself.

I booked CC club for next year with Disney direct, we are going in March and booked when the rooms became available, it was a lot more expensive then a standard room, we booked it as a treat as we have decided to put of a big holiday until 2008 when my dd is older. I have just got back from a trip and we stayed in a standard room, which was a lovely big room, we still got an excellent service.
