Castle @ Christmas 2008?

Does anyone know if they will be repeating the icicle castle again this year? We missed it last year and everyone we know who saw it said it was spectacular. We are thinking of going this year and this will probably be the deciding vote!

I don't know for sure but can't believe it won't be shown again; it was spectacular! You can watch the whole program on You Tube.com and enter Castle Lighting. Hope you get to see it!!!

We're counting on it! My thinking is since it started during the "Year of a Million Dreams" and that's been extended through the end of 2008, we'll be good! Now whether or not Disney agrees with me, I don't know, LOL!! I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

I sure hope they do this again this year! Last year the castle was so gorgeous with all of the lights--I almost cried. Not so much because of the beauty (which it was) but the sheer technical flawlessness in how it was executed. It was truly Disney 'Magic'.

I've got my fingers crossed too. I told DBF about it, he's considering taking his SLR for it.

It is my guess that similar to the long run of the Osborne Lights,the Castle Dream Lights and Cinderella's Holiday Wish will be a part the Holidays at WDW for many years.

If they do do it again does anyone know when they started it last year? We will be there Thanksgiving week through Dec 1st. I would LOVE to see it! I know they did the Disneyland version beginning in November so I am hoping they do that at DW as well so that we can see it!

They officially premiered on November 12, 2007, the first night of MVMCP. They will most likely start again on the first night of this year's MVMCP, November 10.

Yeah! I sure do hope so. I did see it on YouTube and several of our friends saw it and said it was 'out of this world'. Keeping my fingers crossed also. Not quite sure if we'll go in Nov. or Dec.

Well we should know by September. Thats when they started putting up the lights last year. They had a giant crane over on the side and it wasnt intill the 3rd day there that I saw the lights they started attaching. So any Sept Dis'ers let us know!
