Wonder is a "single" traveler is a family of diversity!:lmao:

Can you tell us on which site you saw this? It looks like fun.

Do we think this is legit?:confused3

Well I replied to it because we are going to be down there from June 7-13th so i thought what the heck. I didnt give any vital information except names and ages I did not say where we lived or anything like that. So we shall see.

I googled walt disney family casting and only thing I saw was an add on craigslist in charleston which looks very similar:

Looking to feature multigenerational/ethnically diverse families interested in traveling to Walt Disney World and staying in Disney Resort. Travel to happen during month of June and family should be open to having trip/experience featured on Travel TV show.

Prior travel to Disney World a plus, but not necessary.

Need jpeg photos of family, number of people in immeditate family and ages of family members. Provide quick narrative about why your family would be fantastic on TV, and why a vacation to Walt Disney World would be a dream. Please send to shannagumballs@yahoo.com.

So i am curious if this is one of those urban legend stories that just kills some poor companies email system.

I hope this is real - I'm going to feel quite foolish after submitting my reply - gushing about how much we love disney!

i just sent them an email with all of my information!! Oddly enough I will already be there at BWV early June, I own DVC, my family is diverse, and I have a whole bunch of WDW experience!! Wish me luck!!!!! :goodvibes

Our family applied the last time the Travel Channel had a casting and we got a call back but we didn't hit the demographics they way they wanted...our kids were older then 6.....So, I figure I'll apply again and see what happens this time. I think at least 2 DISers got excepted last time....

I decided to give this a try. I figure it can't hurt to try and get another trip to Disney World, especially on someone else's dime.

I guess we will just have to wait and see how this turns out.

We may give this a whirl. We have 4 kids between 3 and 15 and usually travel with my mom, who is in her 70s and my sister, who is 10 years older than us. What the heck, worst that can happen is they say "no thanks!"

Now to get a picture of all of us! In all our trips, at least someone is missing in every one. Usually me. :goodvibes

I think it's legit. My cousin, who was on one of those home decorating shows cast by the same production company (Edelman Productions in Corte Madera, CA) was sent that same e-mail on 5/13. Since she knows that I'm a Disney lover, she forwarded it to me. I sent in my info :) I hope that someone from the DIS gets to go. Of course, I REALLY, REALLY hope it's me and my family!
