We just came back from the Western so we are members of the Castaway Club and we just purchased at BCV so we are DVC members. We are thinking of booking a 4 night Wonder in July 2003 and have a few questions.
1. We plan on using our points for the cruise but may need an additional stateroom if family (paying cash) plans to join us. Do we make all ressies through DVC?
2. Family will be paying cash so do we also do their ressies through DVC and ask for 2 staterooms next to eachother. Can you pay for one stateroom in points and the other in cash, or should I put the ressies for their room in their names?
3. How does the Castaway Club and benefits fit in with all this?

HELP! Thanks

There really aren't any castaway club benefits anymore. When you book your cruise, let DVC know the number. That way, you will get a present in your room and get invited to the returning cruiser party.

Credits are only available when you book on board.

DVC will only book the point related room - the other family will have to book the cash room direct or through a TA

I am not sure how this would work out savings wise, but only one person in the room has to be staying on points. You could book both rooms on points for the first person and pay cash for the 2nd person in each room. If I were you, I would check into this and see if it comes out cheaper this way then booking a complete room on cash.
