Castaway Cay - Snorkel Lagoon Equipment Rentals

Curious what's included in the snorkel equipment rentals at Castaway Cay? Do they come with flippers? Also, if I bring my own equipment, can I still snorkel in the lagoon?

The snorkel equipment comes with mask, snorkel, fins and vest. If you bring your own snorkel equipment, you can still borrow a vest for no charge. Everyone is required to wear a vest in the snorkeling lagoon and they are provided free of charge at the snorkel rental huts. We always bring our own snorkel equipment and borrow the vests.

If you bring your mask and snorkel, you can rent the fins for 50% of the package cost. That what we do.

We rented last time and purchased our own prior to our upcoming trip because we wanted full face masks. We'll just grab vests before we head into the water. We have mini fins and if they seem like they aren't enough, we can always rent fins, too.

We really enjoyed snorkeling. We say a ray, a sea turtle and a lot of fish. I laughed so hard as my husband snorkeled past me while I was taking a break above water and I could hear him saying "Here, fishy fishy" out of his snorkel.
