My sis wants to do parasailing with the family. The DCL website says the minimum weight is 90 lbs, but her travel agent told her kids under that weight can go tandem with an adult. Does anyone know if this is true? Thank you!

Must be similar to Sammy Duvall's where there is a window - 130 to 330 Lbs single or tandem. Ever try to fly a kite without a tail? They end up spinning circles in the air!

Kids ride tandem with an adult. My daughter was only 60lbs last year and went up with me. It was a lot of fun!!

On the website it has a min age of 8, is that still the min? Or can you do tandem with a younger age?

Minimum age is still the same tandem or not. I went up with my son when he was 8 and he only weighed 50 lbs

I did tandem with my daughter last year (she was 8) and only weighed about 55 pounds. We loved it!!! Way more peaceful and less scary than I expected!

My daughters went tandem together (age 9 & 12), so I went solo. I was hoping I could go tandem once with each of them, but they decided to go together, drat!
