Castaway Cay Getaway Package

Hello
I wanted some opinions on if I should do this for my family of four or just wait and see what we are in the mood for.
I don't know if we will all want to snorkel/bike at the same time.
Do you think it is necessary? Do they run out of bikes or snorkeling equipment?

We've done it on the last 2 sailings and WILL definately do it on our November 19th Western. If you are lucky enough to be on a 2 CC stopper it is a buy one get one free......you MUST book it before you sail to get that.....good luck!!!

it depends on if you plan to cruise alot....we purchased snokeling equipment last year for our kids after summer really cheap along with sand toys and just brought them with us in a beach bag...i knew we could reuse them year after year...also, i kinda was not sure if i wanted equipment that had been in someone else's mouth, no matter how well the clean it! (although i don't obsess over dishes and glasses...go figure!)

For our May 2005 cruise, we just bought 2 of the packages for our family of 4, but I probably wouldn't do it again. It was too hot to ride a bike, but we shared the snorkel equipment and floats. Luckily for us, my daughter and I wear the same size shoe and my son and husband also wear the same size shoe, so we could all share the flippers. They had tons of floats and snorkeling equipment, so I don't think we'd reserve the package again.

We have done this on every cruise. This past October we decided not to do it again. It is a nice excursion so to speak but after doing it several times I think we will try something different. I have the banana boat ride booked for our September cruise.
