Castaway Cay Excursions

Less than 2 weeks to go .....

I've taken care of most everything ... however I have not booked any activities at Castaway Cay ... We want to do the snorkeling, banana boat rides and (maybe!) the parasailing ... do I really need to make advanced reservations for these activities ... I did not want to commit to a particular time (for the banana boats and the parasailing) because I have a feeling everybody is going to want to be all over the place ... my DH and I want to do the whole cabana massage thing (and who knows what time we are going to be able to book that) and the kids (DS16, DD10 and DD5) are just so hard to predict. Do these activities book up or are the activities pretty available throughout the day --- like what if they really like the banana boat thing and want to go again ... is that easy enough to do? Thanks for all the help ... I have found such GREAT advice here ...

We did not book the parasailing because we did not know if DS wanted to do it. When we got there we asked and got a time slot. WARNING give yourself about an hour to do this. BTW it is fantastic. Looks scary but once you are up ther it looks beautiful!!! The water, boat and island!!!!

As for the cabana massage, we did not do it, but while standing inline for make ressies for the spa this was the most common topic of discussion. Those goes fast!!!! I was second in line and the person in front and two behind me was going for the cabana ressies!!!

I was on the Magic March 2th. The counselor in the Teen club recommand the excursion for Teen in castaway cay. She said that it is a must.

We reserved the first day on the ship and my daughter went on it at Castaway Cay. She loved it. They do snorkel, bike and kayak. It is a must for the teen and the number of participant is limited.
