Is this the cat we're talking about? This was from April 2010:

Yes, this is the cat I was worried about during the storm. I took this photo of the black cat on Aug. 14, 2011, that I've posted on several of the threads.

The cat in your photo, appears to be the same cat in my photo.

If the black cat is Casey, then the yellow cat should be KIKI.

Just thinking, though....maybe feeding them isn't the best idea. They probably help keep the mouse population down to two............and if they're fed too much, they won't be doing that job....

Actually, it's a myth that well fed cats won't mouse. They do it for sport/play. I've owned horses most of my life, and mice and barn cats are a part of that lifestyle. The well fed barn cats are downright lethal...even if you hate mice, you DON'T want to see a cat playing with one before they strike the final blow.

I am her agent. There are magnets, key chains, t shirts, towels, stuffed Caseys toys and she will now have photo ops next to Cookies. Move over Jack Sparrow!

Too funny! Don't let Disney get ahold of this... it's such a good idea I expect to see them have this stuff when I get there... in two weeks! And the funny part is, I'd buy it!

I never new there was a cat on CC. But these threads are hillarious!

I think my soon to be husband is going to get annoyed with me trying to find Casey. This is going to be a new game for the kiddo's. We'll do a where's Casey nature walk!

Maybe I'll create a facebook page when I have some time if noone gets to it first!

I am totally going on a Casey Nature Walk. I am going to find that cat. So did anyone create the FB page yet? I'm ready to friend him/her.

Serious question: are there any other land critters on CC? If not, Kitty's need for vaccinations is greatly reduced. And if s/he's the only cat, neutering/spaying not an issue either, except that they're generally more chill if they're fixed.

I don't think s/he could possibly look more chill. Definitely fixed!!

I'd be very surprised to learn that he's a tom (unneutered male), because tom's generally have very large heads which are unmistakable in unaltered males.

I wasn't aware there was a resident cat in CC. We went on our first cruise this past August and we were only able to go to CC on the second back to back cruise. My daughter and I were walking towards Spring a Leak and she pointed to the black cat sitting on the edge. I didn't think much of it.

But now I'm glad the cat is fine after the hurricane.
