Castaway Cay cabana waitlist

i am sure this has been asked before , but for some reason not finding an answer. Where do I go to be put on a waitlist for a CC cabana? Checking the website daily, but so far nothing.

We have always gone to Guest Services to be added to the list as soon as we are on board.

I have put my name on a waitlist a few times.

On the Wonder and Magic I have scored one on both Serenity Bay and Family Beach.
I have had zero luck on The Fantasy 0 for 2. When we boarded on to the Fantasy 2 weeks ago I was the first person at Port Adventures desk to put my name on the list ( we are Platinum and boarded with group 1 about 1130) But we sadly never got the call. This was a Florida special we got last minute so all cabanas were booked well before we booked this cruise.

I went to the excursion desk upon boarding. They told me to go to guest services and suggested I call from the room as the lines would be long. I called got on the list and they called the wave phone on Nassau day ( we were at the rainforest room) and we got a cabana on the family side.
It was worth every penny. This was January 2017 4 night Dresm

We didn't get one on the Fantasy either. We were the first ones on the ship as a back to back cruiser. I know it varies each and every cruise the chances. But having a waitlist at least gives you a chance, not having your name on the list is no chance guaranteed.

We got one on the Dream back in January, we were totally surprised. After having cabanas on the last several DCL cruises, it's hard to go without.

I would recommend to definitely keep checking. I lucked upon one just a couple of weeks before we sailed!
