when you get on and off the ship at CC what do you need? The KTTWC and what else? DH thinks we need our passports and birthcertificates for the kids as well. If you do need these, where in the world do you put them while you are swimming etc?

No, you never need to take your passports of birth certificates off the ship. You should probably just leave them in the safe. The adults DO need photo ID (driver's license) and everyone needs KTTW cards.
