Castaway Cay and eating at Serenity Bay?

Hey all,
My wife and I are two adults (no kids yet!) who plan on spending most of our Castaway Cay day at Serinity Bay (the adults only beach).

Is Cookie's the only place to get lunch on the island?

From the maps and Navigators we have seen online it appears that the only place to eat is Cookies and that Serinity Bay just has the "Castaway Air Bar - Frozen Specialty Drinks, Cocktails & Beer".

Do we have to take the tram 1/2 way back across the island for snacks? Or is there food not listed on the map at the Castaway Air Bar on Serinity Bay?

Nope, there is a special cook out held at the adult beach bar area. They usually have fresh fruit, hanburgers, hot dogs, grilled chicken, corn, ice cream and a couple of other items. I do have to tell you though, Cookies has a much better variety of foods and offers many things that the adult beach doesn't. However, you can eat over at Serenity Bay and be perfectly happy if you choose to.

Our friends sailed last year and actually recommended that we eat at the adult beach as the food was better there during their trip. We sail in 2 weeks so then I can report back.

Even if you do decide to go back to Cookies to eat, the tram ride is really not all that long.

By the time you walk to the food area at Serenity Beach you are already at the tram stop, so maybe in 10 minutes total time you can get over to Cookies, depending on how long it takes the tram to get to you.

No..you get a wonderful grilled lunch right there at serenity bay. There is a cookout picnic area...so stay and enjoy.

We had lunch at Serenity Bay at the end of June. It was great! The fruit was awesome and I had the BEST Salmon sandwich (on a bun)! Loved the quiet there and the food was fine!

Yummy...I had the steak sandwich. This must not be advertised much because there where only maybe four couples there eating. No lines no hunting for a place to set. (The seating area was very limited though)
