Just wanted to let anyone know who may be interested that according to the paramedic who lives on Castaway Cay, that the black cat's name is Stitch, not Casey, and currently he is the only cat on the island. Apparently Disney chose to rehome the others but couldn't find a home for him, so they vaccinated him and now he lives there.

LOL That cat has had so many different names. Casey, Scooby and now Stitch.

I was there on 5/5 and didn't see Stitch . I've seen him the last two years and was looking forward to introducing him to my boyfriend. We started talking to the paramedic about him after I wound up at the first aid station from stepping on a sea urchin. Ouch!

I love cat too! I won't be going to CC this year. I want to book a cruise that will go to CC so I can see the cat (whatever his/her name is).

Maybe DCL should make a sign/plaque about the cat so then everyone will know it's name.

Here is a picture of Casey/Stitch/Hades We saw him on our cruise last December. We saw him as we were walking from the boat to the island. He was right along the pathway. He was very friendly!! I was SO excited that we got to see him

We saw him on the 4/21 Fantasy sailing. I asked many people and they told me his name was Castaway Cay Kittie. How boring. I'm glad he has better names. Poor little guy.

And yes, he is very friendly. I found him hanging on the pathway after the She sells seashells store heading towards the boat. I have several photos but the one posted on page 1 is better and has a cute kid in it.
