Dont have the island map, but someone tell me what area is the best to just sit and see the sights? I guess I will be one of the silly people jetting off the boat first to get a great spot! Any help would be appreciated!pirate:

on it!

Seriously, first, do you want a hammock? Better leave the ship first...just a lounger under a palm tree with drink in hand? (brought to you) - simply walk and sit - you will find plenty of spots like this - even if you don't get off the ship first!

Enjoy paradise!

Each families perfect spot is different.

No kids - then your perfect spot might be over on Serentiy Bay.

Going snorkeling - then you might want to be at the close end of the family beach right in front of the snorkeling lagoon.

Older kids that will be out in the water - then you might want to be in the middle of the family beach in line with the large wood structure.

Do you want to be close to the washrooms, close to the bar, it all depends.

As for my favorite place - I'm not telling or it will get too crowded :D

My favorite spot is on the family beach. We walk just passed the bar (can't remember it's name) and then go left onto the sand. Find a few beach chairs with an umbrella, sit back and relax. This location works for us because it is close to the things we do. Short walk to hair braiding, Cookies, bar, and bathroom. Also close to the water jump thingy for the kids.
Hope this helps!

I sure appreciate the helpful hints....... hammock sounds really nice, till I take a huge 180 spin off the darn thing due to the enourmous food overload I plan on having!!

As for Bruce.....

I saw him last summer, he is never going to get old, keeps getting younger, and more captivating, even with the worst migrane possible, I had the time of my life!

Twinave, we're going on our first cruise next April...can you tell me more about this "water jump thing"? Can adult kids use it too?:p I just love stuff like that and I turn into a 10 year old. You can't get me off the resort slides.

We actually tried a new spot this time and really liked it. When we don't go to the adult beach, we usually walk all the way to the end of the family beach, by Head Up bar. You can get a hammock there as late as 10 a.m.! It rarely gets very crowded, and it's near restrooms and the game room. This time, we got off the ship very early and noticed a couple of unoccupied hammocks right behind the bar that is across from Cookies. They are near the main path, but shaded by palm trees that make them feel more secluded. They are not by the water, but I preferred that because many of the chairs by the water are very close together and I have a talent for sitting next to smokers and breathing their cigarettes all day. We claimed one of the hammocks and dragged a lounge chair over, and it was an absolutely perfect spot. The palms provided shade, and we were right by the food and restrooms. We don't have kids to watch, so we don't care whether we're right by the water or not.

Endowomen, Bruce is like a fine wine. Haven't been able to see him in concert since The River tour, unless you can count HBO. LOL
Hope you enjoy your trip!
Jillpie, The "water jumpy thing" is only for the young in body and spirit. I tried to get a swing from the rope one year but it was a no go. BUT, maybe I just got a CM at a bad moment. Can't hurt to try.
inkkognito, this is just where I went, except we headed a little futher down towards the water. But I know the hammock your talking about. And if I wasn't worried about watching the kids, that would be my ideal spot.

Now, we need to deleate this thread. LOL
