Cast Members to stay in Kidani this week

When we checked in today, the CM told us that she would be staying in Kidani this Friday, the 24th -- for free. They are making sure everything is running smoothly and in working order before it opens a week later.

I asked her if she knew whether we would be able to use the pool at all this week and she didn't answer.

Someone else may have already posted something to this effect. I haven't checked.

Yes, somebody posted a while back that they were hoping to be the first guests to stay in Kidani units. But, I stated that CM's are usually the "guinea pigs" and get to stay to be the test subjects, lol.

I am just jealous, lolol...

It's getting closer...It seems like we've been talking about Kidani forever! I too can't wait to stay in the new units.

I will be checking in at Jambo Wednesday afternoon. DH and I will try to sneak over!

I spoke with a CM at MS on Sat. who told me the same thing. I asked the CM if we're still on track for the 5/1 opening (important since we're checking into Kidani that day ), and he said yes, that he would be staying there on the 25th for a test run. So it looks like we're a go for the 1st!!! Can't wait!!!!

Just wondering - are all the rooms in Kidani ready or just a portion of them? Looking forward to some reviews & pics - the boards will be jumping in the opening days/weeks!

Isn't that place HUGE??? We are also here now (5th floor, 2 br sv) and we are right across from Kidani - to the right of its....lobby? What will the opening do to the bus situation??

Phase 1 will be ready in May. That rest of the resort is due to open in September.
