I have a relative who just started working for Disney. I am hoping she will be able to get me a great rate for my May trip. I was wondering if anyone else has had any experience with CM rates, and what I can expect.

I had a friend that worked at the BC in Guest relations a few years ago. Over those 3 years I would get 50% off rack rate. I assume it's still at the 50% rate but not sure. I recall going to PORS for $58/night, Allstars $39/night and Poly for $101/night. Too bad she left to have a baby. Now I use AP rates or FL resident rates. Oh well, it was good while it lasted!:D

That would be great!

Anyone else have an idea on CM rates?

pooh6890, did your friend actually have to book the room for you or how did you go about it? I've got a friend that works there and has always walked us into the parks until recently. She doesn't work weekends, and when the kids started school, it was too difficult to plan trips without a weekend being included, so we finally broke down and bought Season Passes - near about killed me :D , but I figured we had more than saved enough money with all the times we had gotten in free. We never stayed at the resorts then - don't ask me why - so I never thought to ask her about the resort rates. Not that we've got Season Passes, we've started staying at the resorts, and I had again totally forgotten about asking her about it. Just curious how she goes about setting it up. This sure could save a lot of time with worrying bout codes!!
