Cast Member Name Tags!

Do we get a choice to what name we want on our name tags? My real first name is Matthew however my entire life I've gone by Matt and would prefer my name tag said Matt. Is there paper work we fill out where we have the option of what name to put or will Disney automatically put our full first name on it without us getting a say in it?

I think if Disney does it automatically you can get a new one for 5 bucks. But when I did my program we got to type in the name we wanted on our name tags.

My daughter just filled out her online onboarding paperwork on Friday night. There is a separate section for your nametag and it does ask what name you would prefer to be on your nametag along with whatever city you most identify with. It can be hometown, current city, etc.

When you arrive to Traditions you will look at your name & institution to verify they are correct. That is your chance to indicate Matt as your preferred name.
