I just heard on the news that a CM was run over and killed by a float coming off the parade route...That's all they said...Very sad...

I am confused on how this could have happened. The floats I have seen move very very slow. I could see someone being injured, but killed?

I read in one report that he had a costume on...maybe it got stuck on something on the float? Don't know....

The Atlanta paper said he was playing the part of Pluto when killed.
