CM comps shouldn't be linked because they were asked not to, but OP and mm552 will be fine if they did.

There have been numerous reports where people thought they linked their CM Comps to a MB and book FP+ only to arrive at the park and find that their MB is empty. While it may allow it on-line, that doesn't mean it'll actually work in practice.

OP is certainly welcome to try it - but being prepared is a great option.

As a CM, I just visit regular ticketing (not GR) to have my Comps turned to RFID cards, the lines tend to move quicker (but that's just been my experience, I have never tried to undo a linked ticket).

I know I sound like a broken record but I that's really the case, what do you recommend doing in regards to FP+? Three of four people in my group have APs and we've made FP+ reservations, what about the fourth person? Anyway to link them or are we out of luck?

Same things happen for regular ticket (non CM comps) - as I stated earlier, it's a good idea to bring the paper as a backup. but it's the exception (not the norm) for it to not work when linked. CM comp tickets process like any other ticket. It's not true when earlier posts say when you link it you HAVE to go to GR. If it declines then it's easy to look it up and of it was linked it can be found easily.
