Cassie's Wish/ptr

Depending on when you arrive and leave, you might be able to do another WDW day. I believe you get a three day pass.
I think you are right. We will be getting our travel box today from The Children's Wish Foundation so that will be full of information from what I understand. Poor Cassie is so excited that she made herself sick yesterday.

OK so here is what we know for sure thus far.

Friday Feb 3: Arrive at GKTW, Orientation

Sat Feb 4: Disney World MK

Sun Feb 5:? Not 100% sure yet but prob Bush Garden or Universal

Mon Feb 6: Sea World

Tue Feb 7: Universal (Cassie gets a tour of Harry Potter Land)

Wed Feb 8: WDW/Epcot ADR at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall 1:20pm

Thurs Feb 9: GKTW day? Early plain ride in the morning.

Fri Feb 10: Depart GKTW

FYI, Busch Gardens is in Tampa (about 80 miles from Orlando& you'll have to request these tickets at GKTW from what I understand). On the 9th you could always do Disney's Hollywood Studios. It's a smaller park and its not opened really late. You'll get a 3 day park hopper from Give Kids the World.

Oh really, that might be an idea....Cassie is such a bear to be woken up early.....well you know what I mean. I'm hoping to do the two days at Universal rather than doing Bush.

Another thing to keep in mind is, that Give Kids the World only gives you a 2 day pass to Islands of Adventure (Harry Potter) and Universal, so I'm sure that Cassie's tour of Harry Potter Land would take away 1 day of those passes, leaving you with only 1 day for Universal. You might want to call your wish foundation or GKTW and ask.

Busch Gardens has some awesome coasters. Way too adventurous coasters for me though. I went on Montu, one of the tamer coasters there. I think I counted 9 times going upside down! I came off it and my legs were like rubber and shaking. I could barely walk.

My teen on the other hand loves the coasters. I can't believe he rides Sheekra. Just watching it makes me queasy. If coasters are her forte, then Busch Gardens is awesome for the coasters!

The newest coaster is Cheetah Chase. It looks like an awesome coaster for the coaster enthusiast. But you won't catch me on it!!

The animal displays at Busch Gardens are pretty incredible too. We watched one of their newest shows, Cheetah Run. Trainers go inside to the Cheetah and study how fast the Cheetah can run. We saw her go 22 mph on the first run and 39 on the next. Each run is only a few seconds long!

So it's like a zoo and an amuzement park all in one. I-4 traffic can back up during rush hours, adding to the drive time. The park usually closes early compared to Disney's or Universal's park hours.

Wow.....decissions, decissions!!!! Poor Cassie is torn....she loves roller coasters, but she really wants two days at Universal!

I know that Cassie mentioned wanting to go on all the rollercoasters for her wish. Have you checked the height requirements for all the coasters? How tall is she?

Dueling Dragons at WWOHP - 4ft 6in
Forbidden Journey at WWOHP - 4ft
Flight of the Hippogriff at WWOHP - 3 ft

Also, consider having lunch/dinner at Three Broomsticks. No reservations are needed.

Cassie is 5ft tall (not considering the extra inch she gets in her shoes. LOL!) Where is Three Broomsticks located?

When you go into Olivanders wand shop at WWOHP, they pick one child each time to get "their" wand. The child tries several wands and when their wand picks them the magic works correctly. It is very fun and exciting. There are about 25 people in there at a time. My dd was picked, she said she made "hopeful faces" at they guy. I would talk to the person outside the door and explain your situation, it seems to me they could ensure your baby girl is the one who is picked. The wand is not free, it costs $35, but since you are thinking about getting one anyway....

HP himself is only seen in hologram in Hogwarts. There are many people dressed as Hogwarts students, and the frog choir performs. There is also a show done by the students of Beau Battons and Durmstrang that is a lot of fun. They take pictures afterwards, and the stage area is also an awesome spot to get some photos under your house banner in between shows.

We thought Universal was disappointing, but the WWohP was AWESOME!!! Food in 3 broomsticks was not awfully priced for park food. Universal has a deal where you can eat all day for $20, less for kids, but only at certain restaurants, and NOT at the 3 Broomsticks. If you want a quick butterbeer in a short line, try the pub, the cart in the street always has longer lines than the pub. Honeydukes has all the wizard sweets you can imagine,so save a few $$$ for a chocolate frog or box of every flavor beans.

I just have to say a BIG THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! You ladies have been so wonderful and helpful to my family.

To say Cassie is excited is the understatement of the year. This morning Cassie says...."I almost threw up this morning when I thought only two days before my wish trip!" LOL yup she is excited for sure! Me....I'm just obsessing over all my lists of things to do. LOL

You guys leave in two days! How exciting! Are you all packed? Please come back and tell us all about your trip!!

The weather forcast looks great for this week!! High 70's and low 80's for highs and 60's for lows. I don't see any rain in the forcast from accuweather!
