Cass, Rob and Kira back in Disney! Toddlers' tempers and tantrums PTR NOW LIVE !!!

Well, we've all had a turn for the worse.

Rob spent all day yesterday in bed puking Still feels like crap.

And I was up all night with Kira while she puked 3 times. Poor baby, I hate it when she's sick. However, the good news is that she's mastered the art of puking in a bucket Which is HUGE because instead of changing her sheets 3 times, all I had to do was empty and clean the bucket. And she's starting to recognize when it's coming. This morning while she was eating her oatmeal she started to cry and I asked her what's wrong. She said "I'm gonna puke!" so I ran and got a bucket and she puked in the bucket.

She was upset but as soon as I told her what a great job she did and that I was so proud of her, she felt so much better and cheered right up!

I really hope this will all be out of the way before the trip and that NONE of us get sick on the trip!!!!

I know what it's like to be really sick at WDW and it's soooo not fun!!

Oh Cass, I just posted on the other thread wondering how you guys were feeling...I'm so sorry to hear that Kira & Rob are still not feeling well. Poor Kira ! Hope she starts to feel better real soon!

It's hard to believe that it's almost here! Seems like one day, you're 60+ days away and the next, you're only 9 days away!!!

Ok, now for the bad stuffs

Apparently, everyone in Calgary woke up to snow on Saturday morning, or was it Sunday??? Sorry, my weekend is a little foggy as I spent the whole time in bed


First off....here is the snow...

It didn't stick around, at least not in the city but it was our first fall snow and it certainly won't be our last

I don't mind when it snows in the fall because it hardly ever sticks around. It's winter snow that I hate The stuff that sticks to the roads and causes 300 accidents during the morning rush hour.

So I am actually kind of sad that I missed it.

The reason I missed it was because I was too busy tossing my cookies

I guess I caught what Kira and Rob had a few days ago but I was hit HARD!! I don't know if it's because of my Lupus or I just got a nastier version but it was horrible!!!

I haven't been in that much pain since I was in labour...well the first 10 hours anyway (the last 10 were a whole different story )

I will spare you lovely folks the excruciating details, let's just say I couldn't get out of bed for 2 days.

My MIL came over Saturday morning to take care of Kira for me and my SIL and brother took Kira overnight until Sunday at lunch. Thank God for family, I don't know what I would have done without them!!!

When Kira left to see her aunt and uncle, it was snowing Rob so put on her brand new winter hat that I just bought her. Thankfully her aunt is a shutterbug like me and she took a pic and sent it to me

I didn't get to see this until Sunday night but it brought a smile to my face and made me feel a little better

So even though our trip is just around the corner now, I still feel a little foggy and a little sick still but I am trying to get better and get some excitement happening around here. All we've had is doom and gloom lately, so it's time for some of and a little bit of and a whole lotta

Aww, so sorry everyone is sick, that's no fun. But the best part about this is that you will most likely not be sick on the trip

Kids are so funny with their no concept of time. We're 10 months out from our trip and even my 10, 8 and 6 yr old need to be reminded from time to time that it will be next year when it's summer again. Too cute!! Next time, I'm gonna surprise mine. That's my plan

Yeah and I've worked so hard for the past several months to strengthen my legs for this trip only to feel completely weak now Hopefully I can get back to my walks soon!

Yeah, Ern is better now but he passed it along to me. It wasn't puking but the other end for my guy. My stomach is still a bit off today but I'm on the mend, as well.

That pic of Kira is one of the absolute cutest pics I've ever seen. She's like a little pink powder puff!!!

I sure hope you get better soon, you are running out of days! But that is a great thing!
I think of it this way, if you are to get sick, it's better to have it and get it over with before the trip comes, than during it! Now you will have it all out of the way!
