Caskbill

Truly the good die young.
My prayers out to the family. RIP Bill and thank you!

What terrible news! It's hard to enumerate the things Bill did for this community on the DIS - from serving as a mod and technical guru, to providing free planning software, to sharing sound advice in our forums. He was a guy who did a huge amount of work just for the joy of giving and sharing with a group of people he cared about. We will miss him in so many ways.

RIP Bill.

Bill was in great spirits yesterday when I spoke with him and was feeling much better.

I just got a note from Caskbill's brother, dvc john.

John dropped Bill's car off at their home yesterday and commented that Bill felt better, looked better and the family was optimistic that he would continue to get better and be able to have the bypass soon.

Today, Bill suffered a massive heart attack and passed away this afternoon.

He truly appreciated the kind comments, best wishes and prayers from the DIS family that was so important to him. Bill's wife, 2 children, sister and brother (John) are all in shock. This was completely unexpected after the improvement shown in the past week.

I know I will cherish the time spent with him in person and the hours of communication here on the DIS. He was a special person.

I have no information yet about funeral arrangements, but will post that info once it is available.

I'm at a loss for words at this time.

He will be in our prayers....

How very sad. My deepest sympathy to his family and friends.

I am very sorry to hear about the loss of Caskbill. My sympathies go out to his family and friends, many of which are on the DIS.

All of my remembrances of him are on the DIS, where he helped many people.

This is so very, very sad. Bill was an exceptional person -- kind, generous, and thoughtful. He had that so special ability to make you feel like a life-long friend after only a few moments in his company. He will be missed by so many and forgotten by none.

Our hearts, thoughts and prayers go to Peg, John and the entire family.

I had the opportunity to meet Bill a couple of times; once in Orlando and once here in Indiana. His spirit for his family, DVC, the parks, and these boards was very apparent. He loved them all, and it showed in his expressions.

Our family's thoughts and prayers are with him and his loved ones.

We'll miss you Bill, but rest assured your spirit will live on through everything you loved.

To Caskbill's family

My deepest sympathies to you and all your family and friends:hug:

I am profoundly saddened as he has always been a intrical part of the Disboards for as long as I have been on theses boards.

He will be missed dearly - you are all in my prayers:hug:

Sue
