Presumably there are cash machines (ATM's) around the Universal plot? Can anyone tell me where they are and if any of them are free to use?

Is there one in the RPR?

Not sure about the RPR but I'm sure there are ATM's around. The only one I can think of right off the top of my head is the one at CityWalk next to The Endangered Species store. I don't pay too much attention when I'm over there since I'm not looking for them. ;)

There is one in the lobby to the right of the check in desk at the RPR.
They are located thru out the parks and one located before the turnstiles
at both parks.

As far as free, It depends . The atms are from Chase bank.

I THINK I saw one by International Food and Film Festival in US, but I can't be 100% sure.

We use the Universal ATM that's just inside the entrance next to Guest Relations. I believe there is a charge, though I'm not sure what it is.

I don't know about ATM at the hotels but here is a list from the parks:
Universal Orlando has eight (8) automated teller machines (ATMs) located throughout the property. Please see the listing below for their locations, or, once inside the resort, please check with any team member for the one most convenient to you. The locations are as follows:

1) Universal Studios Florida® at the park entrance to the right of the Guest Services window.

2) Universal Studios Florida® near the Jaws® ride in the Amity area of the theme park.

3) Universal Studios Florida® near the Vacation Services area.

4) Universal' Islands of Adventure® at the park entrance to the right of the Guest Services window.

5) Universal's Islands of Adventure® near The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man®.

6) Universals CityWalk® by 2nd level exit of the movie theaters.

7) Universals CityWalk® nearby to the Cigarz lounge.

8) Universals CityWalk® inside the first floor gaming area at the NASCAR Sports Grille.

OP- in the U.S., virtually all ATMs will have user fees unless they are associated with your bank. (In other words, I can use a Wells Fargo ATM for free, but a Chase customer will have to pay a fee and vice versa.)

$2-3 per transaction is the average fee, but I have paid up to $6 per transaction!

I often will use my debit card to make a small purchase (gum, soda, etc..) and get cash back-- no fee! I'm not sure if there is any place inside the park where this will work, but it doesn't hurt to ask at any register if they can give cash back on a debit purchase.:thumbsup2
