so I need to cash out all my rewards money from SR and QR for Disney dollars before our trip in Aug and I am wondering if I am going to get all $1 bills? I have about $400 to cash out so that would be a lot of ones to carry around. Does anybody know if they will send you larger bills or if they both send ones? I know I could do gift cards but I hate keeping track of how much I have on them.
thanks!!!

I'm not sure that I would want to carry that much in Disney Dollars because they can't be replaced. And the biggest bills that they make are $10. If you are staying on property, why not just get a couple of cards and then apply them to your room when you get there? Then you can use your room card to pay for everything?

I swear I thought I had 20's. :) But yep 10s are the highest amount. I guess they made 50's once for the Disneylands 50th celebration but those are hard to find.

Honestly, I wouldn't want to carry around that much in Disney Dollars either. The only disney dollar denominations they currently make are $1, $5, and $10. I'd go with a few disney dollars and the rest disney gift cards. You can then use the gift cards either toward your room or package or just use it around the park. Most places take credit cards/gift cards now.

I cashed out with QR and requested $100 Disney Dollars. I got a reply from QR suggesting that I get no more than $25 per cash out (they didn't want to send more than that thru the mail)...OR, they suggested that I cash out for a Disney card.
But, on other occasions I have cashed out for $30 DD and had no problem.
They give you the largest bills available.

The amount you have left is on each and every receipt you get, and the CMs (at DLR at least) will tell you verbally and usually circle the amount as well. Just keep the card with the receipt and it's easy.

I've cashed out for dollars before, but just having $20 in the mail like that makes me nervous. I can't even imagine $400!

If I really wanted DDollars, I'd just cash out for paypal, then buy them when I got to the parks.

I called the Disney Store in Toledo, OH last night and they told me I CANNOT use my reward points/card toward a gift card OR Disney Dollars. IS this correct? I wanted to split up the reward dollars between myself and my daughter.

To solve the "how much is on this card dilema", I put a blank address label on the front of the card and update the balance after each purchase. This has worked great for us on numerous trips!

Are you talking about the disney visa rewards points? If you are, I was not able to purchase gift cards or disney dollars with mine at the disney store either. However, I was able to use it to buy gift cards online at disneyshopping. This was last year at some point so I don't know if they changed it, but it might be worth a try for you.
