Hi, I was wondering how much American cash you are taking with you on your trip?

I am on the dining plan and am planning on using my cc for most tips. But we are driving to the US to catch our flight, going to Universal for two days (food, shuttle, tips, etc), plus other tips and expenses. Do you think $300 cash is enough?

Thanks! :flower3:

We're a family of four w/2 teen girls :scared1: We're staying at Universal Hard Rock for 4 nights then on to WDW for 7 :woohoo: We're also on the dining plan (first time). I'm bringing $1000 cash and $1500 travellers cheques. I'm hoping I come home with money  I want to avoid using my cc because of the high exchange rate they charge

I would budget at least $50/day just to be safe - I think if you are planning on using your credit card for most stuff you'd be fine with that.
