Cash upgrades at BCV

I had a 1br at BCV for end of April with the 25% member discount but just found a 1br through the cash site for 30% so booked that instead, so I saved $35 a night AND get housekeeping!

Question is, I know cash reservations can get upgrades, but is it always views or could we possibly even get a 2br? Anybody have anything like that happen with a villa reserved with cash through central reservations?

I know there are no view upgrades at BCV...

I'm a little confused about your question. You asked if the upgrades were views but at the end you say you know there aren't any view upgrades at BCV.

Anyway, its highly unlikely that you'll get an upgrade from a 1BR to a 2BR on a reservation there, cash or points.

I'm saying if somebody is upgraded, is it always just to a better view in the same room category or could one conceivably be upgraded to a better room. I was acknowledging that there are no view upgrades at BCV, so the only upgrade would be to a larger room.

I know on points it won't ever happen, but have heard more stories about cash upgrades---just not sure if it was ever to a larger room.
