Cash Ressies w/ DVC discount

How much of a discount do we get as DVC members if we make a room ressie w/ cash? Is it a flat rate or a flat discount off of the going rate? or a discount off of the highest rate?

Aslo, does this di9csount only apply to DVC resort rooms or can we get a discount for other non-DVC resorts.

I have only done this once, but that was at HHI and we just did nopt want to leave.

The cash discount with Member Service is 25% and it is only good on DVC resort rooms.

Is that 25% off of a flat rate or off of the rate at that time?(you know value season, 25% off VS rate, Peak season 25% off of a peak season rate?)

The discount is off rack rate - whatever that may be for the night in question. The discounted rooms are limited and not always available so you can't count on getting one. They do seem to be available more often for Friday & Saturday nights than they are for the other nights of the week.
