Cash Reservations and Moonlight Magic

For those of you who have been at WDW during a Moonlight Magic event and were staying using a cash reservation, what did you have to do when talking to member services about linking your cash stay to your DVC account. I am on the phone with them now and the lady keeps telling me there is no way to do this. I want to go ahead and take care of this problem now before the day it opens so I don't have the same issues that others have had on here.

I have never done anything and don't think anything like that is possible. I was on a cash stay for the MK event, and I had to call to be registered but for the Epcot event I was able to reserve online even though it was a cash stay at YC (both of these were reserved during the first booking day for on site guests). Not sure if they actually fixed something between those two booking windows or if it was just luck that second time.

Well I hope i have as good a fortune as you had. I have been reading some horror stories of people who were doing a cash stay and could never get registered and by the time they were able to get through to member services it sold out.
