cash reservation (free dining) changing to DVC question

I currently have a cash reservation during the free dining offer.

I am hoping however to rent points and switch to BC for the week we will be there (if it becomes available).

Here is my question....if I make all my dining reservations under my cash reservation, then cancel if something comes available, will my dining reservations be canceled or transfered?

No dining reservations are not impacted by cancelling or changing your trip - they are separate.
