Cash price for DVC room?

I seem to remember that you can buy nights at a discount. Does anyone know the details? costs etc? thanks!

DVC members can sometimes obtain a member discount of 25 percent off rack rate at the DVC resorts (if it's available). We have done this in the past when we were short on points. Member Services linked our point reservation and cash night together so we didn't have to move (I don't think they can guarantee you won't have to move though).
