I have a Nationwide Cashcard (not a debit card) with Link and Cirrus on the back. I use it quite regularly in Europe, no probs, can I use this in America as well?

Thanks in advance!

Eloise

If it's got the Cirrus logo on it there should be no problem using your card in America. The one thing I would watch out for is that your bank may charge you for taking money out abroad (mine charges 2.25% of the sterling tranaction amount, no minimum, £4 maximum.) This could make taking money out quite costly. If you want to check the fees, just go into your bank and they'll be able to tell you.

Thanks so much!

I don't plan on using it too much as we're taking traveller's cheques but I always bring too little cash when i'm on holiday and i'd like the safety of knowing I can take some out there!

We're going on the 17th of September for 2 weeks, how about you? We're staying off-site in a villa (a bit of a luxury as its just dh and I!).

Going on the 30th September for 2 weeks. We're staying in an offsite villa for the first week - timeshare at Summer Bay, don't know about week two yet but there's an outside chance we can get Summer Bay for both weeks. Otherwise we're in another RCI place somewhere nearby (my friend's parents have a spare RCI week banked that needs using by the end of the year so we're buying it off them for about £100. 4 or 5 star accomodation for a week for £100 - that's the kind of price I like!)

any tips of cash machines around I Drive or WDW. I know theres one in the Rosen Plaza
Thanks
Deb
