Cash Or Credit in The Parks

The last time we went we used our room card for 90% of our purchases. This time we are staying at the Dolphin therfore no charging to room. My question is do the shops and restaurants in the parks take credit and debit cards? Are there ATM machines in the parks? If so where are they located? Thanks in advance. I much rather carry as little cash as possible. Makes me nervous My husband on the other hand will carry $2000 and never think twice. MEN?

this man does not like to carry cash!!! We stayed at the Dolphin in November and put almost all of our charges on our Disney Visa. I did miss using my room card (as we had used in the past) but it was really not big of deal at all.

We love the Dolphin! Be sure to ask for a renovated room with a great view of the Epcot fireworks.....and a balcony!!!

Almost every place on Disney property is equipped to handle both credit and debit cards. Debit cards are run the same way as credit cards are, for both your protection and the Company's. There is at least one ATM in each Park... the best way of locating it is to grab a Guidemap and check it. There's usually one in the near vicinity of the main entrance. Don't forget that while you can't use your room card from the Dolphin, you surely can have packages sent there via Disney Hotel Delivery! Have a wonderful stay!

Disney takes credit cards everywhere. Even for a cup of coffee.

one more tip: take change for those little things like drinks and the like.I hated having to break dollar bills for quaters
