Hello all! I searched for an answer but had no luck so hoping a Disser might be able to answer. It's been awhile since my last trip and and I know how leery companies are getting with large denomination bills but I like to carry a some cash in the parks so and I was wondering if QS restaurants will still accept $50 bills? Thanks in advance.

Yes, they will. I almost never carry cash, ever...except at WDW. I even bring a few $100 bills and have had no issues.

They will certainly take cash, but almost everywhere now will take cards or gift cards, including most of the mobile vendors. The only place I can see a large bill being an issue might be with a mobile vendor depending on their change situation at the time. Disney is very used to travelers, especially international ones, using cash.

Great to hear this won't be a problem. I do plan a mix of cash and gift cards, but wanted to make sure all my bases were covered. Thanks.

lol I concur with this as well. We never carry cash at home but exclusively use cash we saved up for the trip during our Disney stay. Never had any problems, used $100 bills as well.

I had some one pain in coins, ( they had to open another register ) and I have seen people pay in $100. last year I was getting ice-cream from an out side vender the person in front of me was using a $100 bull the CM did not have the right change/ or the lady wanted some thing spastic ( I was not listening ) the CM asked her to wait then helped me ( I asked if the other guest had been help the CM told me she needed a manager for her change while she was ring me up her manager showed up ( or someone higher then her) and gave her some more money.I did have to wait about 10-15 minutes before the CM decided to help me.

but this is just two exsperince that I have seen

We never used cash for food because of the dining plan that we love and it makes everything easier since we're international visitors.
But at the stores and all other places we always use cash and never had problem with that ($50 and $100 bills) :)
