cash for clunkers: anyone buy a new car?

Anybody here buy a new car with the Cash for Clunkers deal? When did you buy and what was the process? thanks.

No I wanted to but right before they implemented it it moved my car from being eligable to noneligable. Tomorrow is the last day for it and most dealerships aren't accepting new offers with it because the gubment hasnt paid the dealerships yet.

I tried too..but the car I wanted they never had. They were selling them before they got into the dealership! I wanted to see one and test drive it before I bought it!! Silly me!!!

Now I wonder how long it will be before the dealerships that have my phone number start calling me when they have what I want sitting on their lots!!
