Cash discount for HHI

Does anyone know if there is a cash discount for rooms at HHI? If so, how much is it? Is it only offered at certain times? Thanks, I'm trying to decide if I should pay cash for the weekend instead of using points.

The member discount at all DVC resorts (when available) is 25% off the rack rate. HH often has the discount available for weekends. IMO, it's worth asking about for weekends.

During this past spring break...I checked and the DVC member cash discount was offered. However, some where and I don't remember where...I was able to use another Disney discount which was better.

DVC discount would have run around $240 a night for a 2 bedroom and the other discount I got came out to be $190 a night.

Yes, that's exactly what we do for the weekend before Thanksgiving. I just booked a studio for the Saturday night before Thanksgiving for $82.50. Not really worth using points for that!

MS can only offer the DVC member discount, rack rate cash or point reservations. If other discounts are available (AP, VISA, etc.) they will need to be reserved thru that program.

I did not use the DVC phone number...I use the main WDW reservation number.
