Cash Discount for BWV/BCV 2-br in October?

Does anyone know if they offer cash discounts via CRO (not member discount) for their 2-br units at BWV/BCV? If so, how much did they charge usually (I am looking at 10/18 the beginning of Food & Wine Festival). Trying to decide if I should wait for the discount (I know, I can always book it first at rack rate, but it is just a lot of $) or just book it with my points (need to borrow, and if the cash discount comes out, can't return the pts).

I believe that most, if not all, DVC resorts are sold out for that week. It's one of the most popular weeks for DVC members using their points. I would guess that they will not be offering any cash discounts at that time, since occupancy is so high already.

I just checked on disney.com and Oct 18 to 25 is sold out for all room types for CRO reservations.

When there are vacancies at the villas, you can get really good rates thru the AP rates. We got a 2 bedroom villa last summer for $360 per night, and a 1 bedroom for $240, but there have to be vacancies. Since members took enough rooms to book all the resorts, no rooms can be sold for cash. The rates I got were in the summers when there are vacancies, so CRO sells the rooms to non members--or members who choose to book thru them. Several times I have been unable to book thru MS for Fri-Sat cash nights, but I got them thru CRO. The rates are the same, or even cheaper, and I got maid service and turn-down servce, which gets old really fast, but it's nice for two nights.
