So Lee groped Casey and Casey didn't want Caylee around Lee. Is the defense now going to say that Lee had something to do with Caylee's death? How does this tie into the opening statement about Casey having George's ***** in her mouth each day before she heads off to school every morning?

I have to say.. after 4 of these threads, I feel like I am still missing huge parts of this case!

I am gonna try to sum up what I've learned/remembered. Can someone tell me if I left anything out or if this isn't really accurate?


Defense:
You see, what had happened was....
Caylee uh, drowned by accident in the pool and uh, it wasn't reported.

Judge:
.. Is that all?
Defense: Oh. Yeah. And Casey was sexually molested by her brother and dad. Thank you.
Judge:
You're gonna prove this right.
Defense: sure.

A short time later
Judge:
Ok. Time for proof. Ante up.
Defense: Well, about that Proof. .. this is an honor system, right? I tell you its there, but I don't have to show it to you if I don't wanna?
Judge: ha ha! Good one. Now seriously, let's see it.
Defense: See..now, the thing about this is, I understood this was more of a guideline rather than a rule.. and I don't have to have it, which is a good thing, cause I don't. *cough*
*steam coming out nose and ears of judge*

Lots of forensic experts for the state say that there was a dead body in the trunk. Defense expert says there is no proof of that what so ever.

Defense Atty Mason in a moment of clarity and a late night re-run of office space decides to try to get himself thrown off the case:
Defense: So um, about Casey being arrested... what was she arrested for? Wait, crap! I didn't mean it.. .. *pause waiting for state to pick up on a clue*
State: Ah ha! She was arrested for CC fraud that we are now allowed to bring up.
Defense atty Mason: Um, that was totally not on purpose. So.. Can I go now?
Judge: Nope. Sit down.

Mason is still apart of the Team, but as such, doesn't have to talk anymore. Whoopie!

Defense: So basically whats gonna happen here is Cindy is going to go on the stand and lie about the internet searches, then we're gonna question Lee to try to get him to lie for Casey. Everyone good with that? Good. And then we're gonna question George, only George isn't gonna tell us anything and he isn't going to confess to having an affair... which I am not certain how that would tie into anything, but I thought I'd bring it up.
Judge: ... Anything else?
Defense: Oh yeah. And we're gonna need to try to get Casey outta this cause she doesn't wan.. uh, she's not competent to stand trial. Is that good with you?
Judge: ... No.
Defense: Yeah, didn't think so.

I think you're right! Seriously! She's loving this. She's been in the news every day since July '08, and she's going to get off in the end (she thinks), get her book, LifeTime Movie, talk shows, etc. She'll start a group for mothers who lost their child through accidental drowning and were forced by her sexually abusive father to hand the body over to the meter reader to discard. Cuz I don't think there's one of those support groups yet.

I can understand that letter/text or whatever, under the circumstances. I remember when we thought my DD had Leukemia, and we had people coming out of the woodwork to help us with the other kids, meals, etc. and they DID become special to us. If this woman was claiming she had cancer, I can see George reaching back. Maybe?

JA says he never did depo because DT said she didnt know anything about the case....JA had scheduled her depo the same day as Saturday Rodriguez--nothing to ask her since she knows nothing and he cant guess what (fantasies...fallacies ??) that the DT will ask her

JB we have dr carey (?) available ---something about skype(?) she was going to speak generally which was in her report that JA had and that he chose no to depose her

HHBP asking if shes going to testify to what already been presented---

HHBP i dont have a crystal ball so I have no idea what shes going to say in response to questions---I gave you guys all I could find on grief--their opinion on what shes going to say...some may be admissable some may not be admissable---she can explain based on the hypothetical ...talks about jurors from previous cases knew about grieving there was no reason to present a witness about death and grieving

says this witness may be allowed to testify because these jurors werent asked about death ot grieving?????????

all i can do is listen to the testimony--guess we'll go in and out like poptarts tomorrow

youve had the ability to capture the testimony from your tables and if there was a discrepincy you couldve gotten testimony from court reporter

we'll see tomorrow what the testimny is

How many other witnesses besides the grief counseler--CM says about a half dozen

HHBP talks about if KC decides to testify or not testify he has to inquire if its her decision and her decision alone

So I just realized I am going to be driving back from S. Florida on Tuesday morning and now I am worried I will miss a verdict! I think we need to set up a phone tree or something...someone can text me if it comes out!
