So I just realized I am going to be driving back from S. Florida on Tuesday morning and now I am worried I will miss a verdict! I think we need to set up a phone tree or something...someone can text me if it comes out!

Vinnie Politan is always trying to sell people on getting his tweets. He says that he'll announce when there's a verdict and you'll have 20 minutes to get to a TV.

I also think the problem with Lee and Jesse Grund is this:

Lee Anthony knows his sister lies. He has called her on it several times. George and Cindy know she is a liar and a user but puts up with it so that she won't take Caylee away. They knew that Casey would hold this over their head, even before Caylee was born. ( Back story to why I think this- My sister has emotional problems. Has her whole life. But my parents would alway put up with abuse from her so as to not upset her. If you upset her, she might try to kill herself, if you upset her, she might run away. I have heard this my whole life. When my sister had kids, it became don't upset her, she might not let us see the kids. My sister knows full well she has power over them. My parents know too but always walk on eggshells around her for fear of what she might do.) So when Lee gets close to Jesse, Casey freaks out that Lee might tell him what a liar she is. Especially, if he knew that Casey was going to tell Jesse he was the father when he was not. So, in order to put a wedge between Lee and Jesse, she makes up the lie about sexual abuse.

Oh, I see. CA and LA contradicting each other goes to DTs crazy family story. So they agreed to disagree on the stand? Pretty convoluted but they did sit together afterward. Sunny mentioned that their contradictions lent credence to defennse. That is convoluted but so is the family.

Next they will wonder about GAs secret affair and more denial in the family. If I was the jury I would be figuring out they are a bit off.

Then we may have Jesse testifying about the Lee molestation. KC repeated her lies so much it would be very difficult to know if this was so.

Still not much of a defense.

Exactly what I think. She manipulates her parents as she wishes and she used the little girl as a weapon to get what she wants, as she always had, her brother see things from a different prospective, he doesn't have that parent blind love. Casey got everything she wanted since god knows when, she wouldn't make stories, lies etc just to get what she wants and her brother knows, no wonder they left him out, because he would tell them, you are creating a monster, this is not right, make her accountable, she needs to get a job etc. I think Lee loves his Sister but he wouldn't lie for her like Cindy does.

Very possible. Like you, I know someone like this, and he manipulated people in just that way. I know on one occasion someone (who had supported the manipulator and criticized the parents) actually went to this person's parents several years later and apologized because they had come to realize what the real truth was.

Ditto, to the bolded, Not easy to live with a person like that in your life.

with all the lies I think the jury would see right through that as anothernlie. as well as the defense team could not follow through with their opening statement as well. I really think the jury sees through all the lies. I wonder if they find the defense attorneys as liars as well. I don't think the defense will find anything to allow Jessies testimony in.

And there is documented evidence of a lie he told Casey.

It seems defense is trying to get in their accusations without Casey taking the stand.


I also loved bow baez blames Ashton and company for not taking depo from their grief expert. Poor lady had to wait over an hour while they retook depo for Rodriguez and his sneaky testimony that Baez tried to get in. Just like his client, it isn' t his fault.

I discovered my car radio has a free subscription to Sirius Radio and I have been able to catch parts of the trial on there when I have to be out and about.

This is exactly how I feel about Lee. I have a relative who is raising her daughter in a way that she can do no wrong, and the 21 year old brother has told them what they're doing is wrong. They go between turning a deaf ear to him to telling him he's the one who's wrong. It reminds me of Lee Anthony.

I will! I am one of a handful of people without a smartphone, and I don't have Sirius radio, either. I'm just going to my mom's so I'll be able to keep up until we are driving home Tuesday morning. And if the jury gets the case on Saturday as planned, I'm afraid I'll miss the verdict!

I think it's going to backfire on the defense. The jury can become convinced that it's entirely possible for Casey to kill her daughter coming from that kind of family situation.

is anyone else watching Vinnie Politan on HLN? He went to area where Dom Casey and Hoover searched for the body with the video footage. He paced approx 60 yards (counting the footsteps the whole time) ending where Roy Kronk found the body. It was clear, that Casey & Hoover was searching in the wrong area. My fingers are crossed that the prosecution calls as a witness during the rebuttal. Within a matter of minutes, Vinnie proved the defense WRONG.
