There's no way to know, but I wonder if Baez really believes in the molestation accusations or is he just holding onto it very strongly because it's the only defense he could come up with.

I think he had enough with an alleged accidental drowning and stupid young scared girl who panicked and covered it up. The sex abuse thing is so risky, and since the burden of proof is on the prosecution it would have been more prudent for the defense to say as little as possible.

so far no induction - i'm not a fan of pit and don't think it's necessary - at least for me (please to yell at me in my super fragile state if you took it and it worked)

i've heard sooooooo many bad things about pit and even a couple of my nurses shook their heads when i questioned it.

i won't be let go until she's born but they aren't going to induce or stop it she comes when she comes :( and she's just not listening to me.

as long as they don't to internals they aren't risking infection being shoved back up so there won't be a need for induction unless it's emerg and they it might very well be c-section

but as far as i know - 80% chance of delivery with 7 days

This is pretty awesome! So happy that they aren't trying to strong arm you with Pit!!

There are various things with the pit that could put the baby into distress, and since Nicole hasn't had her womb stay stress free, I am thinking that doctors probably want to avoid this if they can? Especially since you aren't having cervical checks, your temp and bp are being monitored?

Try to take it as easy as you can mama! This is the home stretch where it is just you and her together. Pretty soon it will be 2am feedings, and poopy diapers. :)

In an online posting Friday, Rivera described having lunch with defense lawyer José Baez, who "expressed deep frustration over what he believes to be rulings from the bench that limit his ability to make the abuse argument, however implausible."

Baez alleged in his opening statement that Casey Anthony suffered sexual abuse by her father and brother. Those factors and the family's dysfunction led her to lie after her daughter's "accidental drowning" in June 2008, he told jurors.

He observed: "He [Baez] wanted that jury to know that those parents feared Lee Anthony was the father of that child. That's why they didn't want him involved in the baby's birth. That's where he was going. The judge stopped it."

At one point Friday, Perry also asked Baez to reiterate his defense theory. Baez reaffirmed his initial assertions and hinted at additional elements.[/COLOR]

Pesky, bothersome, tedious, nitpicky rules of evidence. :headache: Relevance, schmelevance. Hasn't the judge watched All That Jazz? Doesn't he see that a jury craves the old razzle dazzle? :dancer:

I keep waiting for an expert to testify as to the shockingly high level of unemployment in the Anthony family.....:lmao:

Good interview with Dr Casey Jordan (my favorite expert/commentator!!) on The Early Show on Saturday (3 minutes 33 seconds) about Lee and Cindy, and will Casey take the stand BUT THIS WAS BEFORE TODAY'S EVENTS:

http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2011/06/25/earlyshow/saturday/main20074337.shtml

Toward the end she says his Credibility is destroyed and he should pretend his opening statement never happened.

Though--some of his evidence was admissible due to his opening. :confused3

I fixed it in my original post!!
:thumbsup2

I was induced with DS because I was late with all three kids and the first two (DDs) weight 10 lbs 1 oz and 10 lbs 5 oz. He was two days late and weighed 11 lbs 5 oz. This was a very negotiated delivery.

7 days? OK...if nothing by tomorrow, then we'll play "when will Nicole be here" again. Sure would be a lot easier to play "Is Nicole a boy or a girl?" ;)
:wave2: Hi Everyone!

I've been reading along with you guys for a while now, obsessed with this whole circus of a trial going on. Thanks so much for so much info and links. My BFF thinks I'm a genius because I know so much! :rotfl: I did tell her about you guys a few days ago, but she still thinks I find a lot of it myself! :confused3

Anyway, you all posted the link to this guard saying something and now I'm going completely crazy! :headache: I gotta know what he's saying! I've watched it at least 50+ times and had my family watch it too. I think the first 2 words are Judge Perry, but I'm not sure. Later, I think he says something about pergery. Anyway, I'm trying to figure it out and will go nuts til we figure it out! (which I know you guys will, if anyone!:goodvibes)There is no way to wait til Monday!!

Kurby, I hope all goes well for you and Nicole! Been keeping you in my prayers and will continue to do so.

Stephanie
 Welcome. :) Ever see that Seinfeld episode where George wants to use Marlee Matlin to read lips for him? That's what we need!

Found this comment in my Internet travels:
You know, since Caylee's baby doll was in the car, I have to think that whatever happened to her happened in the car. If it had happened at the house, I don't think Casey had enough sense or caring about her to pick the doll up as she was moving Caylee to the car. Unless...she knew leaving it behind at the house would alert G & C.
Interesting.

Wow. Some interesting reading here...

I started this post about an hour ago! It's very easy to get sidetracked when you start googling "Casey Anthony" information.

Well, at the end of this day I don't have a clue what is going on other than I feel like I am going crazy to get things started on Monday so what we can find out what this was all about. I'm tired of guessing! Tomorrow is going to be the longest day!!:hourglass

Kurby, I hope things go well for you tonight. Maybe things will get started for you soon. If you end up having to have a c-section, it's really not that bad at all, I've done it 3 times and each one was easy for me. I'll be keeping you and that sweet baby girl in my thoughts and prayers.

Question, after everyone loses on the date and time, can we start over? :rotfl2: I would like to guess again!;)

i said in the other thread that i think we should start a patition that they work full day Saturday and at least Half day sunday.

and with all the bs dippy has been pulling he can flip the bill for the added expense

and i WANT a public appology from him for wasting time with NOT LISTENING and repeating the same question over and over and over

As far as I'm concerned too many people are in too big of a hurry to induce their babies these days! Some of the natural labor encouraging tips I tried were walking, walking, walking, walking, squats, cat-and-cow (on hands and knees), drinking red raspberry leaf tea, eating spicy food......but I went to nearly 42 weeks so that tells you how well they work!

Wouldn't it be against the rules and if anything, unethical for Baez to talk to Geraldo about the trial WHILE it's still going on?????:confused3

I believe it is. Client privileged information's confidential. He shouldn't be talking to anyone.

Mare, thanks for that link. Interesting indeed.

Sad to read knowing what eventually happens. :(

I have a question. Was Cindy shown her time card or other proof that she was at work when those internet searches occurred?

Kurby, by noon tomorrow you're going to be holding your baby!:yay:

MaryAnn, omg thank you so much for all that info on the first page, especially the courtroom seating chart. You rock!

I'm going crazy waiting for Monday.

And I'm going to make a terrible confession about my obsession over this trial: I'm skipping my nephew's graduation party on July 2nd so I can be home in case there's a verdict. I'd have to drive 5 hours upstate to be there and once there there's no way I'll be able to watch tv, so I'm staying home. He'll understand.

I'm kind of in the same boat, so you're not alone! My problem is my own vacation, though. We're leaving next Sunday, July 3rd, for the beach (Florida panhandle). I'm already worried about missing something. I doubt if the condo will have a DVR, so if I want to see something, I'll have to watch it then. My DH will shoot me if I'm inside all day while he is out on the beach. The trial is also part of the reason I just bought a Samsung Galaxy tab. I can keep up with the trial (and the Dis) while we're driving there and in the condo. I hope it has wireless, though!

Based on what I read in the article, he's not violating attorney/client privilege, as he's voicing his frustrations at the proceedings and the judge. He didn't seem to divulge anything that wasn't part of the public record. There's no gag order on the case, obviously, and that's the only thing that he would have violated by talking to Rivera. Of course, it also demonstrates a complete lack of common sense, but then....oh, never mind.

This is really hilarious....I'm laughing with you, not at you...:rotfl:

Ugh, Baez is such a scum bag. So glad the judge put a stop to it!

yes!! We need her. I know she's on twitter, somebody send her that link :teeth:

COME ON NICOLE!!!

Baby check here......
I'm going to miss you all when the trial is over......

Monday I have to use my DVR I'll be out of town for 2 days. Hoping that my flight has t.v.!

Just came across Vinnie Politan's tweet saying that Jean Casarez spoke with Cheney Mason this afternoon and there is NO plea deal! Also, he says that whatever this issue is its "under seal" meaning that someone would violate a court order if information is released! I guess we're stuck waiting til Monday morning at 8:30!

I have just been watching replays of past testimony (since that's been on the entire day ) on a Nancy Grace special. Cindy Anthony's testimony from June 23rd and June 24th was just on, and something just struck me that made me really sad.

We all now know that Cindy and Lee are willing to do anything to save Casey. Cindy will even throw her own husband under the bus by going along with the defense's story that George was a child molester and was part of the coverup of Caylee's drowning. I'm sitting here listening to Cindy talk about how Caylee loved to swim and was very anxious to get in the pool, especially as she got a little older. Then she talked about how Caylee was able to climb the ladder pretty much on her own. She said that Caylee knew the strict rules they set regarding swimming, and that she had to be with an adult any time she was in the pool.

What just hit me is that Cindy is actually throwing Caylee under the bus now, too. This sweet little child, who by all accounts was a well-behaved little girl, is now being portrayed as ignoring or breaking these safety rules. According to the defense, Caylee disobeyed her grandparents, climbed into the pool, and drowned. The poor baby probably never had even the slightest notion to go hear the pool. I just think it's terrible that she is, in essence, being blamed for her own death. :sad2:
